Wanted Fugitive: Miranda

Have an eye for everything she do! This fugitive of the week is Miranda Hunter.

Randa is my best friend who have known for about ...... some years now.(I forgot how long I have known her lol). Our friendship started when I invited her to a fashion show after GAC (a place where we worked). I was, of course, curious to see what the fashion was about but Randa was curious to capture the moment of the show. There is when I noticed her love for photography.

She has an eye for things. She can create still moments for a lifetime and she capture them at the right moment. I chose her to be the fugitive not only for style but for talent. So I decided to be behind the camera this time and follow Randa has she makes her friend Adrian's clothing pieces come life and tell a story at the photoshoot she helped conduct. Check out her website Click here

Follow here work on

Check out the interview below

What type of camera do you shoot with?
Canon t4i

How did you get started with photography?
I got started with photography back in 2011 when a family member purchased me a point and shoot Kodak camera. The rest is history. It was amazing how I could see something with my eyes and be able to capture that moment that couldn't be duplicated. I would do mini shoots in my backyard, in the house, and on the go. The more I captured the moments and realized I was in control of the outcome, the more I fell in love with photography.

How would describe your photography style?
My style is editorial and organic. Always trying to create a mood/ feeling in the image which you are viewing to give one a better concept of the image and what's being told.

How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style,I think its versatile. I'd really hate to put myself inside a box when it comes to my style. It ranges from preppy to urban, giving off that. Sometimes tomboyish look at times.

Of all the creative outlets, why photography?
Well I've tried poetry but I'm not too good at speaking in front of a crowd. I enjoyed painting for a little while but when I do photography it comes natural to me. I have not been to school for it neither have I read tons of books. I feel it is a natural gift that I can only get at and enhance.

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
In the next five years, I see myself being published high fashion photographer with my own studio. Possibly going international as well.

Urban attack

By far my favorite fit for the winter to spring transition. The weather is amazing outside! Hot but not too hot with a breeze. I decided to go on the urban side today with the boots and skully.
The plaid dress I got from Rue 21 for $9 . I wore it is a jacket though. I loved it bought last weekend and had to wear it today to compliment the look I was going for.

Condomonium: Condom Fashion Show

Last night, I was my first time attending the Condomonium: Condom Fashion Show. It was really exciting to see what type of apparel can be made from a latex condom. I enjoyed myself and I enjoyed the complimentary food and wine. The Condomonium is to raise awareness of sexual health, education, and universal sexuality and reproductive health.
I was fixing myself in the mirror

No more wire hanger....EVER!!! Clothes deserve to be worn.

Miranda and I. My best friend seriously do not know if I would be walking with the confidence I had today if it wasn't for her.

Candid shot of me fixing my hair. There was one piece in the front that did not want to cooperate.

Miranda and her friend, who was one of the fashion designers at the show.

Adrian created this full outfit completed with a jacket and pants! All made from condoms. He used over 300 condoms just to make it.

Her top was made of condoms and the dress' train which is not shown. This reminded me of the Great Gatsby

I really liked this dress. The whole thing was made from condoms, of course. You can barely tell that it is made from the thing to prevent pregnancy.lol

My fave again! This was so creative I would have never thought to do that.

This was funky fresh to me. I like how the skirt looks exactly like condoms and is not hidden.
Why hide the control?

Super cute this was a kimono made from green and blue condoms. It actually look like flowers if you did not know it was condoms.

This was the skirt of spidarella's dress. Very cute. Although not shown the top and spider web was made from white condoms.

Here are some candid shots of the model with Adrian's masterpiece.

Look at the blue rubbers. By the way the entire room smelled like latex. When I first walked in I could barely stand the smell but I got use to it.
