Have an eye for everything she do! This fugitive of the week is Miranda Hunter.
Randa is my best friend who have known for about ...... some years now.(I forgot how long I have known her lol). Our friendship started when I invited her to a fashion show after GAC (a place where we worked). I was, of course, curious to see what the fashion was about but Randa was curious to capture the moment of the show. There is when I noticed her love for photography.
She has an eye for things. She can create still moments for a lifetime and she capture them at the right moment. I chose her to be the fugitive not only for style but for talent. So I decided to be behind the camera this time and follow Randa has she makes her friend Adrian's clothing pieces come life and tell a story at the photoshoot she helped conduct. What type of camera do you shoot with?
Canon t4i
How did you get started with photography?
I got started with photography back in 2011 when a family member purchased me a point and shoot Kodak camera. The rest is history. It was amazing how I could see something with my eyes and be able to capture that moment that couldn't be duplicated. I would do mini shoots in my backyard, in the house, and on the go. The more I captured the moments and realized I was in control of the outcome, the more I fell in love with photography.
How would describe your photography style?
My style is editorial and organic. Always trying to create a mood/ feeling in the image which you are viewing to give one a better concept of the image and what's being told.
How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style,I think its versatile. I'd really hate to put myself inside a box when it comes to my style. It ranges from preppy to urban, giving off that. Sometimes tomboyish look at times.
Of all the creative outlets, why photography?
Well I've tried poetry but I'm not too good at speaking in front of a crowd. I enjoyed painting for a little while but when I do photography it comes natural to me. I have not been to school for it neither have I read tons of books. I feel it is a natural gift that I can only get at and enhance.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
In the next five years, I see myself being published high fashion photographer with my own studio. Possibly going international as well.
